Black Rock Church in Fairfield County, Connecticut, expanded its visual capabilities with the installation of three OHR LED walls, anchored by a 42-foot-wide by 14.17-foot-high center display. Designed as a dynamic backdrop to the stage, the central wall functions as a primary visual canvas, allowing the environment to shift seamlessly between services, performances, and special events. Throughout the design process, particular attention was given to structural considerations, where system weight played a critical role. The use of OHR-IGIN panels provided a lightweight yet robust solution, meeting the demands of the installation without compromising performance or reliability.
Each LED wall is mounted on a motorized system, enabling vertical movement to adapt the space as needed. This flexibility supports a wide range of programming—from traditional worship to large-scale productions—while maintaining clean sight lines and architectural balance. The result is a system that not only enhances visual communication but also gives the church the ability to reconfigure its stage environment with precision and consistency.
